Bleak is the moor of remembrance
The yearning for lights from the past
The flames carried by our ascendants
Rely on our learning to last

The essence of every phrase
The judgement of all the blissfully dead
Reflects upon on only their days

Shall our souls become unseen?
Fade into the evergreen?
Maybe all we've ever been
Is ghosts of bitter memories
